Helpful design ideas

We know how ard it can be to decide how to make the best wedding favours - it can be a complicated and time consuming job if you're not careful!

But you don't have to make life difficult in order to create stunning and sylish favours - just make the most of the wonderful products available by combing textures and colours to great effect.

Idea 1 - Monochrome

Take a box and ribbon in the same colour and combine to create a lovely effect - classic and elegant.

Idea 2 - Double Up

Instead of using one lenght of ribbon use two: this creates a luxurious feel and when using thinner ribbons can give a fuller feel to the bow.  The ribbons can both be the same or they can be of different types and colours.  This can be used to great effect when combining a wide and narrow ribbon as shown with the black bustina here.

Idea 3 - Add some interest

There are some great options for adding interest to your wedding favours, without adding a great deal of time to the job!   From left to right above we have added a Berry Spray, Metallic Rose and Hearts Spray, Iridescent Daisies and a Diamante Twist.  If you have a long stem on your spray or flower just wrap it around a skewer or small pencil to create lovely corkscrew spirals as a finishing touch.

Idea 4 - Cheat!

Don't spend hours tying ribbon around your pillow boxes - the pre-tied metallic bows on the left are elasticated and come ready with the bow already tied so all you have to to is slip it around the box.  For a more extravagent solution why not go for our adjustable favour tie - satin and organza ribbons with jewel trims will fit on many different boxes quickly and easily.  Job done!
